Lovely Personal Service

I had to have my late mother's jewelry valued for probate. As Mum only died at the end of November it was a deeply personal experience. The kindness and compassion that Mary showed was lovely. Extremely reluctant to leave items with a jeweller, i.e. out of my possession, I found Mary's details on the internet. After an initial telephone conversation I felt more than confident about using her service. Upon meeting her I was not disappointed. Peace of Mind

Mary was very polite & efficient from beginning to end with answering emails to delivering the final report. I had asked her to value an engagement ring that I had bought in the Caribbean for insurance purposes & assurance that I hadn't been ripped off. Arriving punctually at my house she then took her time to carefully and fully assess the ring, using expert equipment, ending up with a comprehensive printed report on the quality of the diamonds and jewellery piece in general. Mary's report and professional manner has given me peace of mind that whilst the ring isn't perhaps worth as much as I'd hoped it is still a fine item, loved by my partner (who now also has peace of mind that it's not tat) and we can list it on the home insurance.

I found this to be a thorough and detailed service. I wasn′t sure what to expect and needed some items valuing for insurance. I was provided with all the information and some professional images to cover all my needs, all within a short time frame. I would highly recommend this Valuer and will use her again. Good value for money.

Great Service, Well Priced

I was given the name of MW Valuations by a family friend after I inherited some jewellery that I didn't know what to do with. I was aware of some of its value but not in the modern market place. Mary clearly explained the process and the way in which she prepared her valuations. She made clear the differences between the various types of valuations and I chose the one that was most applicable to me. The end product was a review that detailed the items very well and enabled me to make a decision about what to keep and what to sell. Surprisingly, a lot of the items I had no interest in and assumed were not of any great value, were the ones highlighted by Mary as having the best position on the market!
All in all, a great service that I would recommend.
